It appears today was the day that Nokia started selling the Nokia N96 at it’s two London flagship stores - on Regent St and behind the security gates at London Heathrow.

Hot on the back of the news that UK Nokia N96 users will be able to make use of the BBC iPlayer, today came the announcement that users of the Nokia N96 will also be able to access their own mobile TV channel, entitled “Capsule 96″.

With this N96 users will have access to download mobisodes of “exclusive entertainment and lifestyle programming for free”.

And the length of each mobisode?… ....

In a short update to yesterday’s article , today has seen the launch of the Nokia N96 on both the Vodafone & Three UK websites.

In both cases the earliest delivery date available is 1st October.

On 3 UK the Nokia N96 is available on a £30 per month mix and match plan.

As one would expect on Vodafone the phone is available on a wide range of price plans.

Finally after months of waiting we have been given a view on the pricing for the Nokia N96 within the UK.

Up until now Mobile Network 3 had been the only carrier to confirm for certain that they’d be releasing the Nokia N96 in the UK, although it was pretty much expected that the other big players would be selling it as well.

Rumours that O2 would dismiss the N96 in favour… ....

There has been a lot of debate since the specs of the Nokia N96 were first announced that the battery life was expected to be rather shocking due to it’s smaller size. As PlanetN96 reports:
“Nokia had countered this by saying that power performance had been much improved allowing the smaller, thinner battery to be used.”

Nokia have announced that their Australian launch event will be held in Sydney on on Thursday 25th September at a media launch event, according to PlanetN96 .

There’s not a lot of other information for our Australian readers other than what we already know about the N96. At this stage there are no hints as to pricing for the Symbian based phone down under. One imagines it will be… ....
